Since the Ingress Trusted Reporter program ended one of the NiaOops investigative reporters has been scouring Reddit searching for examples of the effectiveness of Niantic’s new heuristic, automatic, anti-cheating algorithms that they are rumored to be deploying to Ingress. The theory is that these algorithms would have already been successfully deployed to Pokemon Go.
