Shards Jump Late
Shortly after NiaOops published Niantic Is Bad At Shards Andrew Krug announced, “We are looking into the shards not jumping. If it can happen we’ll force a jump to occur momentarily.”
And then the two shards that should have jumped did.
Someone should have probably stayed up late and monitored the scheduled job that was running for the first time in a long time. That probably would have meant paying someone overtime though. So, you know … temporary disruption in the portal network or something …
