We learnt from several well positioned sources that the current form of the Trusted Reporter program will be ending on Monday, 26 August.

The Trusted Reporter program has existed for some time now, perceived by players as a way to escalate tickets for spoofers in a speedier way than the usual failed process. Most of the folks that are TRs are diligent in their efforts to identify and report bad actors in Ingress.

However, Niantic has recently re-evaluated the Trusted Reporter program and, due to the high level of accuracy in their detection systems, all current TRs will lose their ability to fast track tickets.

It is unknown what, if anything, will replace it, or when.
